Jul 2026: MDIA Funding

New ARTA Coding Courses Approved for MDIA Funding

ARTA is pleased to announce the launch of three new practical courses in coding and digital technologies:

  • Foundations of Coding with Python – commencing on 29 July 2026
  • Programming Python on the Raspberry Pi 5 – commencing on 17 August 2026
  • Microcontrollers & Embedded Systems for Beginners – commencing on 26 August 2026

All three courses have been approved as eligible courses under the Boost Your Coding Scheme offered by the Malta Digital Innovation Authority (MDIA).

These hands-on programmes are designed to help participants develop practical and highly relevant digital skills. Depending on the selected course, learners will explore programming fundamentals, Python development, microcontrollers, electronics, hardware integration and the creation of intelligent embedded systems.

Through the MDIA scheme, individuals aged 16 and over may apply for reimbursement of 100% of eligible course fees, up to a maximum of €1,000 per applicant. Legal guardians may apply on behalf of participants aged 16 or 17. Funding remains subject to the applicable conditions and prior approval by MDIA.

Places are limited, and early registration is strongly encouraged.
